Oh yeah, we're cool

Not much new to report, here are some cute pictures we have taken over the last week or so. Mommy has been slacking on the photography! We will get more online soon.

Look who's smiling now!

Smiling and talking up a storm! Well, oohing and some aahh's are his words as of yet, but its a whole lot better than cries! Holden has been smiling for a whole week now and is getting so much better at following faces. He definitely knows our voices now as well and will look to find our faces. We have been having outside time where Holden gets to sit in his bouncy chair in the shade while Erin has a cup of coffee and reads or sings to him. It is sooo great to see Holden responding to singing and talking with his smiles and coo's.
At his 2 month well baby check up last week we found out that Holden is just below the 50th percentile in weight and just over the 75th percentile in height! Tall and lean, just like his daddy! Here are a couple pics of his new smile!

Happy Late 4th of July!

Hope everyone had a safe fun 4th of July holiday, we sure did! Our holiday was spent at the beach, Neskowin of course. Grandmother Gail and Auntie Rhea took our little man for one night so we got our first full nights sleep! It was lovely. =) Neskowin's 4th celebration included a bake/book sale, parade (called a walkabout for legal reasons) fly-by by the Oregon Coast guard, sand castle building contest, and of course fireworks! They really outdid themselves with the firework show this year. Granddad Andy started the show off with fireworks of his own! All in all it was a GREAT weekend. Thanks to Erin's family for the trip.
Holden is 7 weeks already! We can't believe how fast time goes by. Holden has now had his first cold, still has a bit of the sniffles. At last weeks Dr. Checkup Holden weighed in at 9lbs 9oz! He must be at least 10 lbs by now, it seems like he is ALWAYS eating! So here are some of his latest pics!
